Our SSRVM Family celebrated International Yoga Day in collaboration with Pokhariya Montessori School, Sayapatri Paropakar School, Balmandir Secondary School, and Radhakrishna Bhupalman Singh Karki Secondary School, Biratnagar.
This event highlighted the transformative power of yoga, which extends far beyond physical fitness. Through the integration of pranayama (breath control) and meditation, participants experienced a sense of calmness, reduced stress, and improved focus and concentration.
Yoga also encourages mindfulness-the art of being fully present in the moment-which has been shown to alleviate anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. By fostering self-awareness through introspection and reflection, practitioners develop emotional resilience and stability, cultivating a positive outlook on life.
